BASEBALL: Giant Addition

With his win yesterday, Giants pitcher Damian Moss improved to a league-leading
5-0 with a 2.11 ERA. Looking at his numbers and the fact that he is only 26
years old, it is not real clear to me why the Braves would have traded Moss,
even to get someone of Russ Ortizís caliber.

In any case, he looks like to be a quality addition to the Giants, both for this year and beyond.

It too Bad too often too many time a pitcher like Jason Schmidt work himself to a frazzle and the manager take on his own and try to give the game to the competing team.
