BASEBALL: Jose The Slugger

Take a look at this box score and tell me what's wrong. Yes . . . that's right . . . that's Jose Offerman, batting cleanup.

Hmm. I could have guessed the problem was Jose Offerman, batting.

And on his couch, still not getting it, Dan Duquette shouts "I TOLD YOU SO!"

The plague seems to be spreading. If you check out the Angels injury-riddled lineup, you'll find Chone Figgens hitting third.

I have Figgins in my Fantasy line-up. Figgens is no Jose Offerman.

But your right, he's no #3 hitter either.

I thought he hit #2 last night, with Eckstein leading off, Guerrero #3 and Guillen #4 (another teamgalt employee). That makes more sense.

I can't imagine all of them remaining healthy all season either. I think the Angels are a team on the verge of imploding.
