BLOG: Grilled Cheese

I often find I have too much to do and not enough time to do it in. Yet I often see news items suggesting that some people have the opposite problem, causing them to spend the time necessary to learn how to do things like eat 26 grilled cheese sandwiches in 10 minutes. Or, perhaps more astonishingly, attend an event at which you watch someone else eat 26 grilled cheese sandwiches in 10 minutes.

Then there's the guy who invented the "Chuck Norris Facts," some of which are admittedly very funny.

Yeah, who ARE these people?

And can I hire them to do all the crap I don't have time for? Maybe they can do my billing and open client/matters?

I'm just really glad I'm not the guy who ate 25 1/2 grilled cheeses in ten minutes and didn't even win. :)

Actually, considering the fact that the winner was able to eat 26 grilled cheese sandwiches in10 minutes, he may in fact be a superior time manager. Think how fast he might be able to get through an ordinary lunch.

Because of some of the issues that Congress takes up -- sorry to end a phrase with a preposition -- I often think that THEY have too little to do, and too much time to do it in. (Rats, I did it again.) There are occasions during which I would be willing to double the salaries of our congresspeople, provided that they pledge to work only six months out of the year, instead of ten. The hearings into steroid use in MLB was one such occasion.
