BASEBALL: The Postseason Roster

What we know for sure is, Milledge, Ledee and Ring won't be on it. Ring's a talented LOOGY but not ready yet and not really needed. Ledee, no loss. Milledge was. I guess, just to nervous-making; the Mets don't have a ton of righthanded bats, but he's really not ready either. I would assume that that decision may be re-evaluated series by series based on how many lefties the Mets will face.

By the way, the Maddux-Glavine matchup for Game Two looks interesting.

No politics? Is the Kissinger the-media-not-the-"deciders" excuse for insane failure getting tired? No way man; stupiod yahoos will slurp that for decades.

Prediction: since the Repub. gay-bashing/distract w/ "protect the children" tack won't work for a month or so: defame the ACLU.

Time will tell.

It now appears that the Dodgers are starting the rookie lefthander Kuo in Game 2.

Heh. I get complaints about doing too much politics, and too little. If you look at the history of this site, I always tilt to more baseball content in March and October. I'm trying to discipline myself to just let some of the political stories go by this month so I can focus more on baseball. That doesn't mean no politics, but you should see a more baseball-heavy mix here for the next month.

Baseball is way more important than politics.

The Mets are in the post-season. I don't know about Crank, but that pretty much means politics isn't even on the radar.

I'm with you guys on that one! I can hardly think about anything besides the playoffs, let alone write coherent posts on them.

Not my posts are ever very coherent to begin with, but this ups the ante significantly.
