LAW: Can A District Attorney Ever Be Sanctioned or Disbarred for Prosecutorial Misconduct?
If the answer to that question is "yes," Mike Nifong's career is over, as it should be. It would be difficult to come up with a more comprehensive and provable case of misconduct on the part of a prosecutor short of bribery or threats of violence.
Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
I agree Daryl. He should fry.
DA's break the law every day. (About 1 year ago, the San Jose Mercury News did a real audit of hundreds of cases--dozens of brutal violations. No one cared.) If the defendants were not in the news, and mebbe because of the racial angle, nobody would care. This DA is just politically inept, not different ethically.
