BASEBALL: This Is A New One On Me

Pud Galvin, steroid user?

To be frank, he wasn't even that good a pitcher except for the talent-diluted 1884 season (more here), but is in the Hall due to his exceptional durability. Galvin died at age 47 from "catarrh of the stomach."

A website devoted to Pud Galvin?!?

This has nothing to do with Mr. Galvin but with a post from many days ago when the comments were not working. I felt like I needed to add it so it could be seen...

I, too, f***ing HATE Hewlett Packard. My business bought a network printer over 4 months ago. It worked for 2 weeks, broke down and now we do not have a printer (out of stock) for 2 of our computers. HP has so many layers of interference that getting anything done to resolve this matter seems more and more futile. They are an evil, evil company.

What a classic obituary....not a man of business? A ha.
