SO you just see this as quirky or are you commenting that it mirrors the division standings?
Oh, the latter. It doesn't explain them by itself, but in the case of the Phils and Marlins it's a huge factor.
The Phillies are on pace to hit 241 homers this year. Given the downward trend in HRs this is a pretty incredible stat even given their ballpark. The NL record is 249 by the 2000 Astros and things were a little different back then. Utley is on track to his 57. What are they going to do when it warms up?
