You should worry about Santana's elbow. Can you name the last significant player that the Twins traded that got better? Doesn't happen very often. Kind of like the Braves and pitchers when Mazzone was still there.

Irish - Well, David Ortiz comes to mind, but the Twins cut him, not traded him.
