POLITICS: The Meaning of Jobs "Created," Part II
Somewhere in these 57 states, there exist Congressional Districts between sight and sound, in which Barack Obama is "creating jobs" that do not exist for constituents of Congresspersons who do not exist either, reports Jonathan Karl of ABC News: Here's a stimulus success story: In Arizona's 9th Congressional District, 30 jobs have been saved or created with just $761,420 in federal stimulus spending. At least that's what the website set up by the Obama Administration to track the $787 billion stimulus says. Read the whole thing (did you know the Northern Mariana Islands had 99 Congressional Districts? Neither did I.) I can't wait for these guys to run the Census, can you? Comments
Who did O-bama designate to oversee that the money was properly spent. Oh yea, that would Joe Biden. "Because you don't mess with Joe!" Posted by: Lee at November 16, 2009 4:29 PMBush lied- people died, haliburton, stolen election, blah, blah-I figure that I will just now start writing the responses from the libtards to save everybody time. Posted by: dch at November 16, 2009 6:10 PMYou just stole Berto's and magrooder's whole postings! What will they say now? Posted by: Lee at November 16, 2009 9:30 PMI live in Phoenix. I see precious little evidence of stimulus money being put to good use anywhere. Not even in the congressional districts that do exist. Posted by: Jesse at November 16, 2009 10:45 PMRun the Census? Hell, I can't wait for these braindeads to run healthcare! Posted by: mike at November 17, 2009 1:01 AMdch, As for the topic's post. Agreed. Obama should have learned from the mistakes of his predecessor. Spending government revenue without any oversight whatsoever is a recipe for disaster. Look how W wasted Crank's hard-earned tax revenues with his dueling boondoggles in the middle east. Post a comment
