What does the existing intelligence committee do if not “examine the administration’s intelligence budget and to make sure the money is being spent properly.”?
That’s supposed to be the base function of the House – spending. I don’t see why they’d need a new committee to do this.
Whatever though. Our intelligence apparatus seems to be leaking like a sieve already so I dunno what difference it would make.
Because doing their jobs constitutionally and legally is apparently impossible otherwise.
