  1. The 2-1 final as oddity is harmless enough, but the careful way they keep couching it makes me think that it is not as unusual an occurrence as it is being made to seem. How many other teams have won four (or more) games by consecutive identical scores, just not scores of 2-1?
    AS a reader of the law, doesn’t such specific phrasing set off bells for you to Crank, or am I just unreasonably suspicious of the constant media obsession on firsts and records?

  2. I never second-guess mangers playing righty-lefty. But Duaner was as good as I’ve ever seen him. Really. Ever.

  3. Randolph got beat with his best reliever on the mound, its so not Randolph’s fault. I know its tough for Mets fans to stomach — and I picked the Mets to win the pennant this year — but perhaps they just aren’t as good as they were expected to be. And the caveat is there remains a LOT of season left to play.
