Great news about Daschle’s withdrawal. That sleazy bastard would have screwed the healthcare program through massive giveaways to the insurance companies. Good riddance to bad trash.

I actually agree that Daschle needed to go. I think Obama goes too far in rejecting lobbyists (disclaimer — I am registered, but don’t “lobby” in the common use of the term) and the double standard for Daschle was insupportable.
