  1. I have said it before and I will say it again-modern liberal thought, logic, language and tactics is becoming more and more in indistinguishable from the book 1984. A catholic university asserting its catholicness is now intolerant and the people that are attempting to remove the crosses are tolerant and victims. Knowledge is Ignorance. War is Peace.

  2. I don’t think it’s very surprising as the Catholic universities aren’t really Catholic anymore. Look at Georgetown — they are strongly pro-abortion and strongly on the side of Hamas/Fatah against Israel (although maybe that’s just Antisemitism)

  3. Saw your post on this at Red State, Crank. The woman of the quote you pulled can only be described as a glittering jewel of ignorance. Boy that was rich.

  4. Much ado about nothing.
Good job by Crank and his posters making out crazies as liberals. I could do the same to Conservatives by extensively searching for whackos who support conservative causes. Real whackos too, like Karl Rove, Newt Gingrich, or Tom Delay (i.e nutballs).

  5. Aww, someone’s upset that yet another liberal cockroach hideout got a big light shone upon it. Sad, really.

  6. I wouldn’t be surprised if a significant portion of the students and faculty at Boston College were unaware of its Catholic origins and identity. Of course, having Fr. John Paris there doesn’t help the Catholic cause any.

  7. Ridiculous. I guess we should rename “Holy Cross” for the same reason. We must be offending someone.

  8. I graduated from the Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America at around the same time Crank graduated from law school. At Catholic, we fly the PAPAL FLAG right next to the American flag, and even then, under those circumstances, there were people who objected to the crucifixes in the class rooms and to one of the rooms being named after St. Thomas More, but made no mention of the flag. As we said then: IT’S A CATHOLIC COLLEGE. Would you object to Yeshiva installing a menorah in the main hall near the end of the first semester? Of course not; it’s a Jewish school. Political correctness run amok, once again.

  9. Oh well, as long as the football players don’t say a prayer before the game, especially if they’re on National TV!
