Crank,
I assume you are working on some long posts about such topics as:
Rick Perry’s breath-takingly stupid foreign policy speech.
Bachmann on vacines
Mitt Romney claiming to be middle class
The GOP Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse threatening the independence of the Fed
Mitch Danels flunking second grade arithmetic with his claims regarding the cost of Bush’s wars
the hypocrisy of the House GOP and loan guarantees.
Can’t wait to read them.
I’ve got another one. How do the Tea Party/GOPers who claim to revere the Constitution reconcile their love of strict constructionism with the badgering of people who invoke the rights under the 5th Amendment?
You…seriously…are arguing that you can’t support the Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination and still make political criticisms based on invocations of the Fifth by major recipients of public funds?
I realize there’s no hypocrisy angle because left wingers openly disdain the rule of law and the Constitution, but be serious here. What would liberals do if the Fifth was invoked in a scandal they wanted to tie to a GOP Administration?
I have a hard time imagining you could actually make that argument with a straight face.
