This sounds too wacky to be true; the London Evening Standard claims that the makers of the latest Harry Potter film may be sued in Russia — presumably by Vladimir Putin — on the theory that Dobby, the computer-generated self-flagellating house elf in the movie, bears too close a resemblance to Mr. Putin.
