I noted last year that in 2002, Alex Rodriguez became just the fifth player to both drive in and score 110 runs in five consecutive seasons. The others:
13 Lou Gehrig
8 Ted Williams (giving credit for 1939-42 and 1946-49 as a single streak)
7 Babe Ruth
7 Jimmie Foxx
With his 44th home run in the first inning Tuesday night, A-Rod made it six in a row.
