Wright, who almost invariably draws comparisons to Scott Rolen, may well be the franchise’s most valuable property; he doesn’t have Jose Reyes’ injury history and, unlike Scott Kazmir, he’s not a pitcher (pitchers are always a risk – who would you rather bet on for the next three years, Albert Pujols or Mark Prior?).
