All the studies of gender based wage differences tend to ignore the very human element that obviously affects the outcome. If I made big bucks my wife would stay home with the kids. However, since I was eligible to retire and she wasn’t yet, I’m home and she is at work right now. The article you posted sounded like a self-fulfilling prophesy.
