I haven’t weighed in here on the whole Mohammed-cartoon business and don’t have time right now to pass on my thoughts, but check out Captain Ed elaborating on a column by the invaluable Jeff Jacoby on why the same media that has been afraid to show the cartoons has slavered attention on Dick Cheney’s hunting accident.

Ummm… Maybe because DICK CHENEY SHOT A GUY!
Go A’s!
A very good column by Jacoby but like Ryan here the U.S. people are still asleep and unfotunately it is going to take a few more wakeup calls before they truly realize the danger the West is facing.
I put together a documentary at my website. Much easier than reading a lot. Check it out at https://www.obber.com.
At least they were honest with their excuses. The problem is you can’t be a journalist if you are going to hide from a story, regardless of the what terrorist may be lurking around the corner. This underscores the actual problem. These are the same people who would not blink about publishing and anti-Christian or anti-Jewish cartoon, picture or article. Then if there is an outcry claim First Amendment rights and censorship. They really do see the problem, they know there is potentially a real price to pay for anti-Islam journalism and they are not willing to take that chance. If you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen.
