Military All-Stars

Got a press release in my emailbox announcing the 2006 “Red, White and Blue Tour of America” by the US Military All-Stars:

In 2005, as in previous years when our country is at war, over 90 percent of our players have served one or more tours in Iraq or Afghanistan. . . .
To support their heroic efforts here in the U.S. we execute an extensive travel schedule of mare than 150 public appearances in support of charities that help our veterans. Players and staff alike fully understand our scope of responsibility far exceeds the games won or lost on the field. However, being true Americans we love to win. Our program is distinguished by a 520-194 overall record of .728 against professional, semiprofessional, and collegiate teams.
In 2006, we will compete against some of the finest professional and NCAA sanctioned summer collegiate organizations in the nation during our “Red, White and Blue Tour of America” including the Golden, Southwest Pacific, Semiprofessional, Cape Cod, New England Collegiate, California Collegiate, Coastal Plain, Atlantic, Central Plain, Western, Semiprofessional Baseball Leagues and the Horizon Summer Series.

  1. The US Military All-Stars are scheduled to play the Cape Cod Baseball League this year on June 10 in Chatham and June 11 in Cotuit, MA. A free kids clinic will be held prior to the games as well, via the Military. Should be an outstanding event!
