I was thinking the same thing about our friend, The Sports Guy. I still enjoyed reading him, but he’s in rarified air these days. I actually realized that last year when I saw him one of those VH1 shows, then read his piece about hanging out in Veags one table away from Jordan & Oakley as they played cards.
Of course I say “our friend” with a wink. You’re obviously in a different place there. He still stay in touch with you? If that’s none of my business, forget I asked (and accept a sincere apology), but I’m legitimately curious.
