No pay if indicted? That’s big. The old saying goes you can get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich. If it’s mid-May and he’s hitting .220 with 3 homers maybe that grand jury consisting of Giants fans might be more willing to indict.
Sounds like that entry to the New Jersey slogan campaign: New Jersey. Not all of our elected officials are under indictment.
A 40+ year old man, no juice, no speed; hopefully no homers. He has no clue of course, that if he retired tomorrow with the statement that, “given the cloud he is under, no matter how unjust (ahem), he wouldn’t want any stain on the great Henry Aaron’s record” he would actually be liked for the first time.
