  1. I thought the labor movement was warmer and friendlier these days. Besides, I didn;t think liberals thought violence solved any problems

  2. Ironman, I have yet to meet anyone in a union who would be classified by themselves, or anyone else, as a liberal.
    If someone said, “I wish that someday I’ll read in the newspaper that something bad has happened to you and also to your kids,” and then talked about owning a gun, I would take that as a direct threat and go to the police.
    I think unions are right in wanting fair pay and safe workplaces, we all deserve that. But this type of lawsuit is abusive and exactly what makes businesses resistent to unions. How much did the TA spend to defend the right to fire an obviously dangerous person? That money could be going back into the system to buy things like safer hydraulic jacks.
