  1. Oh boo hoo hoo. So let’s see, Republicans have for years stopped virtually every attempt to rein in campaign fundraising, but now the system is corrupt because Obama is raising extraordinary amounts of money.
    Give me a break.

  2. I, for one, have never argued that the presence of money in politics = corruption. Nor have most conservatives (you may recall how unpopular McCain’s position on campaign finance reform is within the GOP). Our position has not changed: any and all kinds of fundraising are fine as long as there is full disclosure.
It took Democrats until they were on the receiving end of the moronic Independent Counsel law to realize its flaws. If this permanently disables the move to overregulate money in politics, that would be a good thing (I don’t expect it to, sadly). The point here is that they were hypocrites all along about this stuff, as those of us on the Right always knew.

  3. John Stewart said it best., Crank.
Let’s debate any subject you want. You gather facts, evidence, and data backing up your points with cogent arguments. I’ll pay the debate judges $100K each. Let’s see who wins the debate.

  4. The liberal illuminati don’t care about reform, everyone should know that, but they forgot somewhere. Just like they overspent on this election, they will do it with our taxes dollars, on nonsense at that.
