Pavleitch the the guy who makes this impossible as a bar bet. It’s not surprising to see a number of guys here like Musial (the only career .400 hitter against the Mets) who only ever saw the team during their early desperate years.
Claudell did all his damage after leaving the Mets (including batting .458 against them in 1981), which didn’t really help his reputation as a guy who could have been better if he’d been more consistently motivated (“Washington Slept Here”).
