He has his many faults, but a genuine thumbs-up to Joe Biden for a classy performance on Colbert, where he delivered hot dogs to returning soldiers and gave due credit to President Bush for his dedication to the troops and their mission in Iraq.

This seems like either an overly generalized article or one that is particular to Washington D.C. As someone who doesn’t have and won’t be having children as well as someone who knows many other couples inclined the same way I don’t have or even know of this level of combativeness regarding children. Seems like an attitude more specific to that city. I do think that the article over-generalizes so how valid its conclusions are I’m not certain.
Not sure how this ended up here although I will say that this sight is super-difficult to read on a Blackberry (well, my Blackberry anyway) and since these two posts were short the comment lines were quite close to each other.
