That’s Your Daddy

Well, Pedro quieted the howling masses at Yankee Stadium tonight, with a little help from two great center fielders and some horrible defense by the Hated Yankees. You know, the whole “who’s your daddy” chant is just tiresome. And worse: it’s a clear message that you should never show respect for the Yankees, because it will just get rammed back down your throat for the rest of your career. Good riddance, for one night, at least.

Exactly… the Yankees and their fans have no class whatsoever…

  2. Yeah, Yankees fans have no class buts its you who blasts thousands of fans with one comment.

  3. How nervous does it make you when Brandon Looper comes trotting out of the bullpen? Holy crap, I have only seen a few Mets games this year and that guy has been nothing but a gas can in all of them. I have to put up with Alan Embree but at least he doesn’t close games for us. Yikes. He doesn’t even have the look of a guy who wants to be out there.

  4. “Yankee fans have as much (little?) class as any other team’s fans.”
Yeah… that’s why their fans leave Yankme stadium when their team isn’t winning a game.
You rarely see any other team’s fans disrespect their team in that way.
It’s all a reflection of the karma involved…

You’d you rather I blast each fan individually…?
That would take waaaaay too much time…

  5. Re: Looper.
You forget. We’re Mets fans. We’re used to this. This kind of stuff has been going on since….when did we trade for Franco again?

Oh, this is a riot. Rarely? You see this all the time. At every stadium I’ve been to, if the home team is losing some fans go home. I’ve seen it at Wrigley, I’ve seen it at Shea, at Comiskey, at Camden Yards, and at the Vet. You’re wrong thinking this is only a Yankee thing.

    Freakin’ spare me…
No way in hell they leave in the droves that Yankme fans leave…
A full Yankme Stadium is half empty by the end of a losing game…

  8. Clinical research has shown that nothing on earth is less interesting than a “Mets fans have no class” vs “Yankees fans have no class” argument.
