The Super Bowl in London?
It’s not complete heresy – this is football, not baseball, after all – but it does seem a bit much to take the nation’s premier championship sporting event on the road.

Idiotic, Godell is just dangling the carrot in my opinion. Bad image to the domestic fan, what of the time zone issue?
The time zone isn’t really much of an issue. Play the game at 1PM local, like most NFL games, and it will air at the usual time.
I don’t think it will happen, though, since it means too much to NFL cities to get the game to skip over all of them for a year.
You got me thinking, Jerry. This might be just the ticket to killing the 12 hour pre game show. Might also be the end of Super Bowl Sunday, not necessarily a bad thing.
Just don’t monkey with the World Series.
Too late, Bud sold home field rights to the winner of the next World Baseball Classic.
1pm local would be 8am EST (5am pacific).
Not a suitable time for a wardrobe malfunction.
