The New York media would eat Jose Reyes alive if he missed a key game the Mets lost to the Phillies because he showed up late. Jimmy Rollins isn’t getting off much easier for doing just that in today’s loss to the Mets.

I enjoy and respect all of your statistical meanderings, but there is NO statistic for leadership. We let our clubhouse leadership leave with Aaron Rowand and now we’re paying for it. Only Moyer called out Rollins, but even that was a mild rebuke. It’s about leadership…
True, but Moyer was very clear in backing the manager. He took a side, and it was not Rollins’, no small thing in today’s clubhouses.
